For nearly twenty-years, I've been helping entrepreneurs, small businesses and individual consumers to get a legal edge in a competitive world that's stacked against them.  I started my career with a federal clerkship followed by four years as an intellectual property litigator at the iconic tech law firm of WSGR.  Then I struck out on my own to. bring my "big law" background to you, combined with the personal attention and understated billing practices you only get from a dedicated solo practitioner.. My focus on intellectual property has allowed me to aid entrepreneurs in matters including, e.g., software licensing, complex litigation, copyright and trademark matters.. Meanwhile, my dedication to consumer causes has enabled me to help consumers fight back against abusive banks and debt buyers accross the state, resulting in some of the most important pro-consumer decisions coming out of California courts in recent years.. My dual passions of maximizing opportunities for entrepreneurs and maximizing access to justice for consumers are really just two sides of the same coin; after all, we are ALL consumers, and in my opinion all consumers should strive to be entrepreneurs rather than wage slaves.. I am pround to have created an online tool () allowing me to help an unlimited number of economically distressed consumers simultaneously.  That frees up my time so I can also continue to help entrepreneurs as they reach beyond just getting out of debt and they move into the realm of running successful business ventures.
