She actively serves on the board of the Asian Pacific American Women Lawyers' Alliance and has served on the board of the Multi-Cultural Bar Alliance and the UCLA Asian Pacific Alumni Board of Directors. She is also a past president of the Southern California Chinese Lawyers' Association, where she served on the Board of Governors for eight years and headed up the virtual reality trial skills workshop for four years..
