I’ve been practicing law since 1975, and today I focus my practice on complex trials and appeals in the areas of construction, eminent domain/land use, labor and employment, environmental, business, real property, attorney fee disputes, and insurance litigation.. I have tried numerous cases to the court and jury in all levels of the State and the Federal Court systems in California.. I write and lecture on various issues, including trial preparation, use of experts, misuse of electronic media, attorney fee dispute resolution, environmental, damages, insurance, risk management, professional liability, use of temporary workers, and preparing clients and lawyers for trial.. I have been admitted to practice before all California State Courts, all Federal Courts in California, the United States Supreme Court, and the Court of Claims. I’m a member of several federal, state, and local bar associations. I’ve served as a Judge Pro Tem and an Arbitrator for the Los Angeles Superior Court. I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and my Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law..
