Throughout my time in law school in addition to working a full time job I raised two boys with my beautiful wife Robyn.  Although it was challenging they made the necessary sacrifices for me to complete that journey culminating in me graduating and taking the California State Bar Exam that July. Their love and support carried me through to passing the bar as well.. Since then I have practiced in the area of criminal law as a prosecutor and defense attorny and have gained valuable experience in communicating with prosecutors, judges and especially clients.  Even while a prosecutor and representing the People I made sure I treated defendants with respect and dignity as fellow human beings.  As a crminal defense attorney I make sure each client knows that their case is equally important as the next. I feel that it is important for an attorney to convey that to a client because while we may see scores of similar cases the client may be going through the process for the first time.  I tiell them that it's my job to show prosecutors that these are people behind the case files with careers, families or on their way to obtaining those things and to keep that in mind.  I have recently expanded my experience into the area of Family Law but the goal is the same:  giving a client the best of my knowledge and skill as an attorney.. Ultimately the feeling of getting a client the best possible out come for their case and helping getting their lives back on track is immensely gratifying.
