I also received Proskauer's Golden Gavel award for my representation of a disabled veteran who was discriminated against by her housing law school, I was a judicial intern for the Honorable Christina A. Snyder of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and the Honorable Judith Ashmann-Gerst of the Second District Court of Appeal for the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, I was the president of the Women’s Law Association and a member of the Interdisciplinary Law Journal. I also represented victims of domestic violence in obtaining restraining orders against their abusers and custody orders over their children.
