Nadine Lewis began her legal career in 1995 with a private practice in family law. After completion of the Domestic Violence Litigation Program through Legal Aid, she became a fixture at the Restraining Order Clinic in the Santa Monica Courthouse, where she provided Pro Bono representation to many low income women who would have otherwise gone without legal counsel.. Nadine Lewis is a seasoned litigator who represents clients in the Superior Court of California, in the Los Angeles and Ventura County Family Court Division. Her current case load includes Annulments, Child Support and Visitation, Spousal Support, Divorce, Paternity and Parenting Plans. Since 1995, she has represented women in domestic violence trials, on a wide range of issues from attempted murder to stalking and harassment. She has a good manner and often will minimize legal fees by settling matters without the need for costly and time consuming litigation. Post-judgment modifications of child custody, visitation and child support are often taken on a flat fee basis to provide greater access to the legal system for all litigants.. In 2008, Nadine served a term on the Board of Directors of Friendly House, the oldest women’s recovery home in the United States. During her term as Executive Director of the National Association of Ignition Interlock Providers, Nadine Lewis worked with the California Highway Patrol and Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) to help pass legislation that would require the use of Ignition Interlock Devices for all first-time DUI offenders. She has been a speaker for National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) and other law enforcement her role as Vice President of Government Relations for MMR Information Systems, Inc., Nadine focused on public policy and legislation to further the Presidential Mandate to have electronic health records for every American.. Nadine graduated from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California in 1992 with high honors and earned her Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern University School of Law in 1995.
