He most recently won a $2,000,000 verdict in a Civil Rights/Section 1983 case involving a claim of excessive force against the LAPD regarding a fatal shooting. He also recently negotiated a mid-seven figure settlement for a negligence case involving a pedestrian hit by a slow-moving vehicle. Shane attained his law degree from Loyola Law School and is admitted to practice law in the state of California. Prior to joining Cheong, Denove, Rowell and Bennett in June 2014, Shane spent four years as an associate in the litigation group at Winston & Strawn, LLP.
