Angel Horacek practices employment and civil rights law.  Prior to starting her own firm, she worked for a large national firm and handled employment matters. In addition, she has handled general business litigation, product liability, and intellectual property matters. Angel represents clients in courts and in arbitrations.  If the client so chooses, prior to commencing litigation, she counsels employees about their specific situations in the workplace in order to attempt to resolve the issues with the employer.  If possible, she works with the employer to resolve these cases before a lawsuit is filed – putting the worker back to work with minimal disruption.  She understands that a client's work is that client's livelihood. She is admitted to practice in all state courts in California, in the United States District Courts for the Central and Southern Districts of California and in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.  She was an extern for the Honorable Andrew J. Wistrich, Magistrate Judge of the United States District Court, Central District of California. She obtained both her J.D. and her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles. In addition to being a member of the California Bar Association, she is a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association, the John M. Langston Bar Association, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
