Prior to obtaining a job in the legal field I worked in Human Resources for a security & guest service company servicing the needs of M&T Bank Stadium and the Baltimore Ravens.. In my second year of law school I was asked to become a paralegal at the firm of Scurti, Meiselman & Bledsoe working in the field of bankruptcy. I worked with SM&B for approximately 10 months and then accompanied Mr. Scurti to Pessin Katz Law, P.A. to continue on as his bankruptcy paralegal.. I worked at PK Law for 2 years while completing my law degree in the evening. Upon completion of my law degree I studied for and successfully completed the Maryland State Bar Exam and then clerked for a Maryland Bankruptcy Judge.. In September 2010 I came back onboard with PK Law, P.A. as an Associate in the Business Services Department. I am a member of the Baltimore County Bar Association & an active participant in their Young Lawyers Committee.. I am an avid supporter and advocate for my undergraduate alma mater Frostburg State University and participate with their alumni association whenever possible. In addition, I am active with my sorority, Alpha Sigma Alpha, which I find to be a great avenue for community volunteer opportunities and a way to network and cultivate relationships with other professional females.. In my spare time I also enjoy watching sports, reading, traveling and spending time with my husband and daughter.
