Mr. Quinn served for twenty years on the Governor’s Advisory Committee to the Law-Related Education Program for the State of Maryland. He has also served three terms as a Member of the Board of Governors of the Maryland State Bar Association. He has served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Governors and has served on its Planning Commission. Mr. Quinn was elected as a Fellow of the Maryland Bar Foundation in 1998.. Mr. Quinn currently serves as President of the Bar Foundation of Montgomery County, Maryland. He is the current Past-President of the Bar Association of Montgomery County and has served the Bar Association of Montgomery County as a Member of the Executive Committee, Chairman of the Nominations and Elections Committee and Interprofessional Committee, Judicial District Delegate to the Young Lawyers Section Council, and on numerous Committees and Commissions, including the Judicial Selections Committee and the Fee Dispute Resolution Committee. He has been a recipient of the President’s Citation for Outstanding Service to the Bar Association. He has also served as trial counsel to the Bar Association.. Mr. Quinn acts as a special mediator to the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, and has conducted in excess of 50 specially appointed mediations. He has also served as a Special Arbiter on numerous occasions. His areas of practice include business litigation, medical malpractice, personal injury, products liability, real estate and construction litigation, criminal law, workers’ compensation and family law. He lectures frequently on issues relating to tort, family, and insurance law and trial practice to various professional organizations.. Mr. Quinn has practiced law in Rockville, Maryland since 1975 and has served as lead trial counsel in hundreds of jury and non-jury cases. He is a Member of the Maryland and District of Columbia Bars. He is also a Member of the Bars of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, the United States Circuit Court for the District of Columbia Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States. Mr. Quinn has served on numerous business and community Boards of Directors.
