Emily Koning (she/her) joined Family Legal Advocacy Group, LLC (FLAG) in September 2022 as a Senior Attorney.. Emily graduated from Marshall University, magna cum laude, in 2010, and then from the University of Baltimore School of Law, cum laude, in 2013. During law school, Emily interned for the Honorable Kendra Y. Ausby in the Family Division of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, and for the Maryland Office of the Public Defender, Child in Need of Assistance Division. Emily represented clients in divorce, custody, and protective orders cases as a student attorney in the school’s Family Law Clinic. She was also a member of the University of Baltimore Law Review. After graduation, Emily clerked for a Family Law Magistrate in Baltimore City. Since then, she has practiced Family Law almost exclusively, in numerous jurisdictions in Maryland..
