Laura Richardson was raised in Westchester County, New York, by two corporate attorneys, and attended the University of Virginia School of Law after graduating from Dartmouth. After her graduation from UVA, she moved to Chicago where she began practicing in the Debt Finance group of a large law firm.. After realizing she wanted to focus more on helping others, Laura moved to Key West and took a position in the prose aid department of Family Court, helping clients navigate the court system. Although she took a step away from practicing law, she always knew family law was what she wanted to have a career in when she came back.. After five years working as a journlaism in Key West, Laura's path led her to the DFW area as an Associate at Varghese Summersett Family Law Group. Owning and running her own business enabled Laura to hone her communication skills and leverage her sensitivity and compassion when helping clients navigate complex family law disputes..
