For more than 15 years, I have represented individuals and companies in a wide variety of civil litigation matters, including personal injury and commercial claims, construction disputes and emplyment matters.. With respect to employment law, I have represnted invididuals and companies of all sizes before administrative agencies, in arbitration, and in state and federal courts throughout Texas and across the United States. My experience includes both the enforcement and defense of actions involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other employment related claims brought under a variety of laws, including:. I have also prosecuted and defended claims for unpaid compensaiton and overtime wages under the Fair Labor Standards Act.. My litigation experience also includes serving as staff counsel for Farmers Insurance where my practice focused on personal injury and commercial litigation. During this time, I was actively involved in all aspects of civil litigation, including serving as lead counsel in several bench and jury trials.. I am fluent in Spanish and can assist clients who prefer to communicate in Spanish.
