Before studying law, she attended the University of Missouri, earning her Bachelor of Science in Business and a minor in Psychology. Before this, she worked as a Legal Assistant for a law firm in Waukee, IA where she drafted, filed, and scanned legal documents, worked to open and close cases as needed, and edited and delivered correspondence on behalf of the attorney to clients and legal professionals. Before law school, Hunter also worked as a Communications Clerk for a law firm in Columbia, MO..
