Ms. Moar is an Associate at Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman, LLP and has extensive experience assisting clients with internal investigations, regulatory compliance, and voluntary self-compliance.  She has worked with various New York State and federal agencies, including but not limited to the Federal and New York State Department of Labor, Health and Human Services, New York State Office of Medicaid Inspector General, and the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission to conduct compliance audits and provide requested training.  In addition to the above, Stacey has also handled numerous commercial matters involving restrictive covenants, contractual disputes, as well as employment disputes.. Ms. Moar received her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Canisius College in 2006. She went on to receive her J.D. degree from George Washington University Law School in 2009. While in law school Ms. Moar served as a legal fellow in the George Washington Small Business Community Economic Development Clinic.. Ms. Moar is a member of the New York State and the Erie County Bar Associations. Additionally, she is also a member of the Canisius College Pre-Law Advisory Council. In the Fall of 2011, Ms. Moar joined the faculty at Canisius College and now serves as an adjunct professor in the Department of Political Science and teaches a course on the U.S. Constitution.She has presented to attorneys and human resources professionals on hiring and termination, drafting social media policies, Federal and State WARN Act, Older Worker Benefit Protection Act, and drafting severance packages and releases. In 2010, Ms. Moar coauthored an article entitled, "Mixed-Motive Causation Under the Americans with Disabilities Act," in the NYSBA Labor and Employment Law Journal.
