James Randazzo
James Randazzo is not only a founding partner of Portale Randazzo LLP, he is also one of Westchester County's most respected criminal defense and civil litigation attorneys. Mr. Randazzo earned his Juris Doctor from Saint John's University School of Law in 1989 and quickly joined Westchester County's District Attorney's Office as an Assistant District Attorney. He served in this position for six years and, over that time, tried more than 30 trials to verdict. Mr. Randazzo then entered the civil litigation arena and worked for some of New York's most prestigious firms. His experience as head counsel in various types of civil cases has made him a sought-after lecturer for both schools and municipalities on topics such as civil rights violations, municipal law, and various other matters. Now a founding partner at Portale Randazzo LLP, Mr. Randazzo joins fellow former Westchester County Prosecutor Richard Portale in a practice that spans criminal defense and various civil litigation issues-- including personal injury, police brutality, and institutional defense.
