Licensed to practice since 2005, Romas has over 9 years of trial experience as a former DuPage County Assistant State's Attorney.  He has tried more than 300 trials, and has argued more than 1,000 contested hearings.. As an Assistant State's Attorney, Romas has tried many felony and misdemeanor cases, including Murder, Sex Assault, Financial Crimes, Burglary, Aggravated Battery, Domestic Battery, DUI, and traffic offenses.  He was also a member of the DuPage Crash and Accident Reconstruction Team (DUCART), assisting investigating officers at accident scenes with legal issues as they related to crashes involving great bodily injury or death.  Specific specialized unit assignments included Financial Crimes and Public Integrity, Felony Review, and Sexual Violence/Child Protection..
