Martel earned an International Business and Marketing double major from Illinois State University in 2000. He worked at Merrill Lynch through the turbulent 2000-2002 stock market crash. Later, Zach advanced through the management program at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, earning numerous awards for sales success. Eventually, Zach pursued his law degree so that he could really make a difference in the community and those in need. He earned his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School, in Chicago. Zach lives in Naperville, with his wife and three children. Zach is active and extremely passionate about being involved and giving back to the local community – he is a board member for Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity, ReStore, Illinois Association of Independent Attorneys, and NACC Not-For-Profit Advisory Board.. In 2006, Zach channeled his professional motivations and desires towards a law degree at the John Marshall Law School in Chicago. During his time at John Marshall, Zach competed in and led several Alternative Dispute Resolution competitions and courses; and he was a judicial extern in the U.S. Federal Courts. Now, while practicing law, Zach is a board member for the Illinois Association of Independent Attorneys, an active member of the DuPage County Bar Association, and a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the American Bar Association..
