Katie Kenny became licensed to practice law in 1991, and she has focused her concentration in the area of of domestic relations for more than twenty-nine years. Katie has successfully represented hundreds of clients in matters such as divorce, legal separation, paternity, child custody and visitation, child support, maintenance, and and she does so with the utmost professionalism, honesty, integrity and zeal. She has also had the honor of representing many families as they grew through domestic and international adoptions, and assisted families as they formed guardianships for the protection of their most vulnerable members. Katie has served as a mediator for more than twenty years, assisting divorcing families to achieve their own settlements of their divorces, property division, child custody and visitation. Katie also serves as a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem, representing the interests of minor children in especially contentious custody and visitation matters.. Katie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Marquette University in 1988, and she graduated with honors from IIT-Chicago Kent College of Law in 1991. She is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association and its Family Law Committee.
