I was injured in a car accident while a law student and learned the hard way how the insurance companies treat the victims who need their help the most. From that point on I put the practice of tax law behind me and decided to exclusively handle cases involving personal injury. I saw firsthand how the insurance companies treated people and knew that I could have a major impact on the lives of my clients.. I have been practicing injury law in North Carolina for over 20 years. I am married and have two sons (and three dogs). My law practice is a major part of my life where I work with some exceptional people including my wife who is also a personal injury attorney. She worked with the insurance carriers early on in her career and brought an invaluable insight into their inner workings to our practice.. I am an avid skier, biker and hockey player. I work out regularly at a local Crossfit and am active in my Church and my sons' Boy Scout troop. I have also been active in the community with coaching of a local middle school football team and helping with one of our local high school Rugby programs..
