In 2014, he opened his own firm with the goal of using his years of experience in both plaintiff and defense work to continue advocating for injured workers as they navigate the workers' compensation system.. Lou is active member of his church, a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar's Grievance and Fee Dispute Committee and volunteers as a coach for youth sports.
