Marty earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in finance from California State University at Fullerton, graduating magna cum laude. He then attended the University of Louisville School of Law, graduating magna cum laude, third in his class, while clerking full time for an established law firm. In law school, Marty was Editor of his school’s law journal, and has since written and been published in business publications on varying legal topics.. Marty is also active in the Las Vegas community. Since 2004, he has served on the Board of Directors for the YMCA of Southern Nevada, a non-profit organization committed to youth development, healthy living and social development. Some know him as the Y’s in-house attorney, but Marty’s contributions stretch far beyond those boundaries to activities such as fund raising for the Strong Kids Campaign, the YMCA’s annual giving campaign that supports underprivileged youth.
