During his tenure as general counsel with a local homebuilder, Mr. Gillette drafted all formation and governance documents, acquired all related regulatory licenses and exemptions, procured insurance and bonding, secured financing, hired personnel, acquired real estate for development, coordinated all entitlements and permits necessary for construction, and drafted all related contracts and documentation. Mosley, Eighth Judicial District Court, Mr. Gillette’s early career centered on litigation. His court appearances continued with many years in private practice as a litigator in the areas of insurance defense, construction defect, jobsite injury, and premises defense.. A native Nevadan, Mr. Gillette received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Philosophy, from Loyola Marymount University in 1989. He then earned his Juris Doctorate in 1992 from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
