Laura is an associate in the Las Vegas office of Daehnke Stevens LLP.  Laura’s litigation practice is focused primarily on representing physicians and other healthcare providers in medical negligence claims and defending physicians in administrative board actions.  Laura also has experience litigating legal malpractice, employment, general business, breach of contract and general liability cases in Nevada state and federal courts.. Laura graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science.  Following graduation, Laura worked as a veterinary technician at a specialty animal hospital where she oversaw and coordinated a clinical study for the FDA approval of a new veterinary pharmaceutical.. In 2003, Laura received her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law.  While at USD, she was a member of the Pro Bono Legal Advocates and participated in Moot Court competitions and Civil Clinic.  After completing her first year of law school, Laura served as extern law clerk to the Honorable Donald M. Mosley of the Eighth Judicial District Court of Clark County, Nevada.. Laura became a member of the State Bar of California in December 2003 and a member of the State Bar of Nevada in April 2004.  She is licensed to practice before all courts of the states of Nevada and California, as well as the United States District Court, Central District of California and District of Nevada.
