I was born in Lansing, Michigan and recieved my formal education in Lansing before entering the University of Detroit on a full athletic scholarship while earning my undergraduate degree. Upon graduation, I immediately entered law school at the University of Detroit, graduating in 1970.. Upon graduation and passing the Michigan Bar Exam in 1971, I commenced my law practice in Lansing and have continued my practice as a trial attorney continuously since 1971.. The nature of my practice has been as a trial lawyer primarily involved in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, criminal defense, domestic relations, and other forms of civil litigation.. I have dedicated my entire practice for those 46 years to represent individuals and their families in the various trial courts in the State of Michigan, as well as, appellate matters in the Michigan Court of Appeals and the Michigan Supreme Court. As a result, I have achieved settlements and verdicts in the various areas of personal injury law totalling in the millions of dollars over those years..
