Born in a United States Army Hospital in Aberdeen, Maryland 1957, Mr. Lakin is the son of an Army Doctor.         Mr. Lakin grew up in the Detroit Metropolitan area and graduated from Wayne State University; then attending Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University.      While attending law school, Mr. Lakin became interested in the area of Criminal Law.
