Stephen R. Harris is a highly experienced attorney with a career spanning over four decades, primarily in Chapter 11 business bankruptcy. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California and his law degree from the University of San Diego, becoming a licensed Nevada attorney in 1974.Steve began his career at the Federal Public Defender’s office in Reno, where he developed his courtroom skills, achieving seven acquittals in eight jury trials. In 1976, he entered private practice and soon shifted his focus to bankruptcy law, guided by U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Bert Goldwater.
