Brian W. Thompson is a Director with Jackson & Campbell, P.C.  He is Co-Chair of the Firm's Real Estate Litigation and Transactions practice group and a member of  the Trust and Estate practice group.  His practice with the firm focuses primarily on real estate litigation and transactional matters in the District of Columbia and Maryland, with an emphasis on title and contractual issues. In addition to an area of practice in real estate, Brian represents clients in matters involving Trusts, Estates and Probate. Brian is an active litigation attorney, and has served as lead counsel in matters before the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, various Circuit Courts in the State of Maryland, the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland, and the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.. Brian is the current Secretary of the D.C. Land Title Association (DCLTA) and previously served as DCLTA President.  Brian has served on the Board of Directors of DCLTA since 2014.  Brian also previosly served as a member of the elected Steering Committee of the Real Estate Housing and Land Use Community of the D.C. Bar. Brian is also an active member of the American Land Title Association (ALTA) and serves on several ALTA committees. Brian is also a member of the District of Columbia Bar and Maryland State Bar Association.. Brian received his Juris Doctor from Tulane Law School in 2004, and a B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2001.
