Prior to joining Woods Rogers, John worked as an associate in trusts and estates at Stevens & Lee in Reading, Pa. While there, he concentrated his practice in estate and trust administration, estate planning and the representation of tax-exempt organizations.. John received his undergraduate degree from the University of Richmond and his law degree from the University of Maryland, cum laude. He later obtained his master of laws degree in taxation from Temple University.. His Roanoke Valley community outreach includes serving on the board of Roanoke Valley SPCA and the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Backbone Club.
