Trey Watkins was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2005 and is an associate in the Charleston office of Wall Templeton & Haldrup, P.A.  He received both his Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctorate degrees from the University of South Carolina, and he is an “AV Preeminent” rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell.. His practice focuses primarily on Insurance defense including construction disputes, serious personal injury, and complex litigation.  Prior to attending law school, Mr. Watkins worked in the surety industry as a Surety Bond Underwriter for Travelers.. He is a lecturer and author on construction and surety industry topics for groups such as the Carolinas Associated General Contractors (CAGC), the American Bar Association’s Forum on the Construction Industry, and Lorman Education Services.  He currently serves as president elect of the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys Association’s Young Lawyers, as a member of the South Carolina Bar’s Judicial Qualifications Committee, as a construction committee member for the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance, as a member of the Board of Directors for the Charleston Metro Exchange Club, and as an agent for Woodberry Forest School’s annual fund..
