Divorce and custody actions are some of the most stressful life events an individual can experience; you shouldn’t have to worry about losing an arm and a leg, through predatory billing practices, as well. That's why I opened Springfield Family Law. We put our clients first.. Too many attorneys keep their clients in the dark regarding the status of their cases, and don’t care about what that case may be doing to the client's life in the meantime. I believe in making your case as simple and straight forward as possible, without sacrificing proper and comprehensive representation. In addition, instead of "sugar coating" the truth, or telling you what I think you want to hear to keep you blindly paying a bill; I will be transparent and honest about the status of your action, so you can make an informed decision about the direction of your case. Whether you are thinking of starting a Domestic Action, or already in the middle of one, you don’t need your attorney adding to your worry about your case.. Being a child of divorce, I know the strain a family can experience when parents separate. I decided to work in Family Law when I was still in high school; and later I received my Master’s in Psychology, with a focus on family dynamics, in conjunction with my Law Degree. Because of my background in psychology, I possess a deep understanding of how the various difficulties involved in a Domestic Action can affect you and your family. My goal in every Domestic Action is to find the best possible solution for you and most importantly, your children. Sometimes the best solution is a settlement, sometimes it is a trial.
