My firm focuses on two areas of law that sadly often intersect - bankruptcy and divorce. The issues which arise during the separation of a couple oftentimes is financial. Our family law court system is geared towards the division of assets and making sure the spouses are being supported through spousal support, and child support.. Having experienced the divorce of my own parents, I understand the emotional turmoil that separation causes. My approach is oftentimes collaborative, seeking to bring both parties to the table to work out an agreement which is beneficial to both. Our court system is adversarial, and some family lawyers think that when one person wins, the other person must lose. However, it is my strong belief that it's possible that we can have win-win situations.. That being said, I am a zealous advocate when necessary, and will help you get the results that you want when there is a lot of dishonesty or distrust going on. I have several years of experience in both family law and bankruptcy, and have handled hundreds of cases.
