Marcy S. Resnik is a Fort Lauderdale divorce and litigation attorney. She practices in the areas of commercial litigation, mortgage foreclosure and family law, and serves clients in Miami, Broward, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, and throughout the state of Florida.She has represented clients in complex commercial matters involving numerous parties and millions of dollars. These cases include business disputes among partners, landlord-tenant issues and foreclosure cases. Ms. Resnik brings her business knowledge to the table when representing clients during a divorce. As a result, she has been able to successfully merge these practice areas in our office.Active in the community, Ms. Resnik was elected President of the Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center in April 2011, after having served as its membership Vice President. She has been a member of the Synagogue's Board of Directors for the past 15 years, holding several positions. Ms. Resnik has also served on the Board of Advisors for the Pine Crest School, Fort Lauderdale Campus, as well as President of the Mothers' Club.Ms. Resnik has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1988, having earned her Juris Doctor degree from the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Maryland.She is a member of the Broward County Bar Association, the Dade County Chapter of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers, and the Bankruptcy Bar. She is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
