Prior to law school, Jerry served as the Assistant Director of Cleveland's Department of Public Health and Welfare, where he supervised programs in primary health care, environmental health, air pollution control and prison administration for a department with over 500 employees.. Jerry lives in Bay Village with his wife Tolisa, who is a yoga instructor, and their daughter. Their son is a second year law student. He is active in the community having served as Senior Warden of his church in Lakewood; on the Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) and Strategic Planning Committee for the Bay Village Schools; on the Bay Village Board of Zoning Appeals; and as President of the Cleveland Scholastic Rowing Association (CSRA).
