Welcome to my profile. As an experienced litigator, I have guided numerous individuals and corporations through the legal system. Having handled many high-profile, high-stakes litigation matters, I bring a level of expertise and attention to detail to every case in which I am involved. Being involved in a court case is a stressful situation for clients and I work to ease that stress by providing the confidence that the matter will be handled diligently, discretely and professionally.. ---An experienced litigator, I am also an adjunct professor of law at Touro Law School and taught previously as an adjunct at New York Law School.  I also serve on a number of non-profit boards including The Long Island Hispanic Bar Association,  the Nassau County Legal Aid Society and the Nassau County Bar Association.. I am the managing partner of my firm which is a litigation boutique.  We pride ourselves on providing big firm results, ability and experience in a small firm setting. We have litigated successfully against many of the largest firms in the country and on some of the most noteworthy and high profile cases in our area. In addition, as a sideline to my practice I work in the field of wrongful  convictions, having exonerated 9 men in 10 cases in the past fifteen years. We have always provided a free initial consultation and personalized attention.. On a personal note, I was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and am fluent in Spanish. I now reside on Long Island with my wife and three sons.
