Mr. Goldberg earned a B.A. in Organismic and Evolutionary Biology, cum laude, from Harvard University. He earned a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Boston University with a specialization in solid-state circuits, devices, and materials. Subsequently, he was awarded a J.D. from Cornell Law School with a concentration in technology and law.. Prior to joining Christopher & Weisberg, Mr. Goldberg practiced in a large law firm setting in the Silicon Valley region, where he advised major technology companies on patent and trademark portfolio strategies. He managed prosecution of patents related to telecommunications, including 3G, 4G, and 5G wireless communication technologies, and handled post-grant review proceedings challenging electrical circuit patents before the USPTO. Further, he handled various aspects of patent infringement litigation in Federal district court and before the International Trade Commission (ITC), including patent validity, infringement, fact discovery, expert discovery, claim construction, and source code review..
