Amber is member of the 2000 graduating class of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. Amber attended the Wake Forest University School of Law and graduated in 2005. She competed for, and was named a member of Trial Bar during her second year of law school. Additionally, she honed her leadership skills by her involvement as an officer of the Domestic Violence Advocacy Center and as the Student Representative for the North Carolina Association of Women Attorney's.. Born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, Amber Billick has witnessed the urban growth of this area over her lifetime. Although she appreciates the advantages that “big city” life can bring, she enjoys the close-knit community that has managed to survive here in Concord. Amber is married to her wonderful husband Chad and has three children: Zoe, Haven and Ryder. Additionally, her parents are still in the area as well as her four sisters, one brother and thirteen nieces and nephews. Family gatherings are quite an event as you can imagine!
