Frank J. Cardis is a 1989 graduate of Wabash College, Crawfordsville, Indiana. He received his law degree from Indiana University’s Robert H. McKinney School of Law, Indianapolis, Indiana in 1997. Frank was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. After many years of practice in greater-Cincinnati, Ohio, Lawrenceburg, Indiana, and Covington, Kentucky, Frank moved to Central Arkansas to be closer to family.Frank is admitted to practice law in the States of Arkansas, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky, as well as the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas, Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, Southern District of Ohio, and Eastern District of Kentucky. In May, 2015, Frank was certified as a Juvenile Training Immersion Program Trainer by the National Juvenile Defender Center. He is the only JTIP certified trainer in Arkansas. Additionally, Frank has been a lecturer or faculty member at continuing legal education programs sponsored by the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum (ICLEF), Legal Volunteers of Southeast Indiana, Inc. and the Indiana Public Defender Council in the areas of Criminal Procedure, Criminal Law, Juvenile Delinquency Defense, Trial Advocacy, and Evidence.During his career, Frank has served on committees related to state-wide juvenile delinquency reform, community corrections, and access to justice/civil legal pro bono initiatives.
