I worked for Tony both before and after I was sworn in as an attorney in South Carolina, and it was because of what he taught me--both about the law and about the practice thereof--that I was able to open up my own successful practice. What many don't realize, when it comes to attorneys, is that you generally get out what you put in -- much like anything else. Sometimes, clients can be their own worst enemy and don't always listen to the advice of their attorney. It causes frustration, and those folks are apt to shift blame. One of the things I liked best about working for Tony is that we worked well together. When I was new, I was *really* aggressive. Tony, however, was more measured.
