Donald C. Cofsky is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney, and is the Managing Member of Cofsky & Zeidman, LLC in Haddonfield, New Jersey. He concentrates his practice on family formation through adoption and assisted reproduction technology (ART), and on trial work, and has received “A” and “V” ratings by Martindale-Hubbell, its highest for both ability and ethics.. Mr. Cofsky represents adopting parents in private, agency, international, and domestic placements and represents parties in assisted reproduction matters. He has served as a lecturer and workshop leader at numerous adoption and ART seminars and has worked with the New Jersey Administrative Office of the Court (AOC) on revisions to the court rules on adoptions and gestation carrier matters. He is the author of Family Formation through Private Adoption published in the December 2018 edition of the New Jersey Lawyer, the magazine of the New Jersey State Bar Association. He is a Past President of the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys (AAAA), a founding member and Co-Chair of the New Jersey Academy of Adoption Attorneys (NJAAA), and a charter member of the American Academy of Assisted Reproduction Technology Attorneys (AAARTA), now part of AAAA.
