My journey to the practice of law has been a winding one. I did not picture myself in this profession when I left college. In fact, my undergraduate degree was in Biology, with an emphasis on pre-medicine. In 2008 I was laid off from a good job with a development company in the Willamette Valley. At that time I felt helpless to provide for my family.
