While on active duty as a JAG, Greg prosecuted and defended over a hundred felony cases with charges ranging from drug possession to murder. Additionally, he was selected to serve as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia. In that capacity he prosecuted hundreds of felony and misdemeanor cases arising on federal property in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area. Greg is often called upon by local news organizations to comment on prominent military legal cases. Greg's last active duty assignment was at the Defense Appellate Division in Washington DC where he wrote criminal appellate briefs and argued appeal cases.
