After graduating from college, I taught English to German students at a college preparatory high school in Trier, Germany, as part of the U.S. Fulbright teaching assistant program. I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2007 with a concentration in Advocacy.. I started my career as a family law attorney in Richmond, Virginia, in 2007, and am licensed to practice law in both Tennessee and Virginia. Since returning to Tennessee in 2009, I have continued serving clients in the areas of Divorce, Custody, Child Support, Adoption, and Juvenile Law. I also practice in the areas of Estate Planning, Wills and Trusts, and Estate Administration. I am a member of the Blount County, Knoxville, and Tennessee Bar Associations.. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Forrest (a pharmacist for Walgreens), and our two children, George and Caroline. We have three dogs, including a Vizsla and two rescues. We love living in Maryville and taking advantage of everything that the area offers. I am a member of New Providence Presbyterian Church and Maryville Junior Service League (2014- present) and serve as the Scholarship Chair for Maryville Junior Service League. I also serve on the Blount County Public Library Foundation Board (2017-2019).
