Mr. Evangelista attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and graduated in 1988 with a dual degree in Economics and Political Science. In 1991 Mr. Evangelista earned his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law, in Camden, New Jersey, where he was Articles Editor of the school's Law Review and a recipient of its International Law Honors Program Award.

In November, 2010, just three weeks after serving as lead trial counsel and securing a multi-million dollar verdict in South Georgia, Jeff was lead trial counsel on another multi-million dollar verdict in DeKalb County. In that case, the Plaintiff alleged the Defendant, a 28 year old military veteran, ran her and her husband off the road, causing serious injuries to both husband and wife. The Defendant, who was represented by a large national defense firm, claimed the Plaintiffs came into his lane. After a three day trial, the jury found for the Plaintiffs and awarded a total award of $3,290, (inclusive of attorney's fees)..
