Kristine's career in family law began in 2007 as a paralegal and law clerk to Stella L. Pitts. She became an attorney through the Rule 6 Law Clerk program in 2013 and joined the Law Offices of Sherri M. Anderson in 2017. Her practice focuses on substantial estates which require creative solutions – legal, financial, emotional – for unique problems: e.g. divorce in the context of closely held businesses, stock awards and options, retirement assets, pensions, trusts, separate property tracing.. Her professional background prior to entering the legal field as a teacher (English literature at UW and Seattle University), an artist (weaver), and a retail buyer for a small business inform her practical and nuanced approach to the circumstances clients bring to her. Kristine’s decade-deep background in mediation and trial practice ensures that she and her clients are prepared for settlement and court.. Kristine is a licensed attorney in Washington State, and has been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers every year for the past four years.
Kristine became a trial lawyer out of a deeply held belief that bullies should not win and that one must stand up for what they believe is fair and right. When tragedy happens, injuring you, your children, or loved ones, Kristine works to help you and your family seek justice by leveling the playing field against insurance companies, large corporations, and the government.. Kristine devotes the majority of her practice to helping injured people and their families with personal injury cases, including motor vehicle / car accidents, wrongful death, and insurance bad faith.. Kristine attended Seattle University School of Law, where she graduated with a Juris Doctor degree, summa cum laude. Upon graduating from law school, Kristine clerked for the Honorable Christine Quinn-Brintnall of the Washington State Court of Appeals Division II.
Kristina Marino knows that every client deserves an advocate who is willing to put an endless amount of time and effort into their case. As an associate attorney, Kristi is focused on personal injury claims.. Kristina Marino is a native of Washington State, and grew up locally in Edmonds. She earned a degree in Psychology from the University of Washington in 2014, and a Juris Doctor from Seattle University in 2019. During her time at Seattle University School of Law she was actively involved with the King County Bar Association and participated in a national negotiation competition. She joined Premier Law Group as an associate attorney in 2020.. As someone who has personal experience with personal injury and auto accidents, she wants to assist others in navigating the roadblocks and barriers that can be presented with the legal system. While in college, Kristi suffered an unfortunate accident that left her without a car and suffering through an immense amount of pain. Thankfully, she was able to contact an attorney who provided assistance with understanding the depths of insurance companies, the importance of being truthful and honest about the accident, and the basics of what to do should she get into another accident. From this experience, Kristi learned the importance of having an advocate who will fight for her every step of the way and provide status updates upon request. Kristi is planning to use this personal learning experience to provide the best care, support, and effort for each of her clients.. If she is not working, Kristi is most likely spending time with her fiancé, Daniel, and cat, Larry. She also enjoys college football (Go Dawgs!), hiking, traveling, and exploring new local breweries. Kristi is always up for trying new work out classes, whether that be barre, cycling, pilates, or Gymnastics. As an avid hockey enthusiast, she is extremely excited for the NHL to come to Seattle.

I was born in California and moved to the Pacific Northwest with my parents and three siblings when I was 5 and was raised in Kirkland. I graduated from Juanita High School and I went on to receive my BA from Central Washington University in political science and then received my law degree from Gonzaga Law School in Spokane Washington.. I started my legal career as a volunteer for a public defender agency, and I fell in love with the job. I really liked helping people, especially when they were scared and in the unfamiliar setting of a courtroom and didnt know what to do, or what was going to happen. I then began working full-time for a public defender agency in Seattle and I enjoyed it even more. I handled over 2000 cases in my time with the public defender, and then I moved on to private practice. I now do about 80% of my work for the Office of Public Defense and the other 20% is private. I have been to trial on everything from Trespass to Murder, and a few things in between. I am happy to help and answer any questions that a potential client may have. I don't charge for answering questions, just for representing people, and I will always try to make payments work for a client. I think that it is very important for people to look around when they are trying to find an attorney. Just because an attorney charges a large amount for their representation doesn't make them good, and just because Public Defenders are free doesn't make them bad - we all went to law school, but every lawyer is different. A client should always trust their lawyer - they are their advocate, their voice in the courtroom and trust and communication should always be open.

At Intellectual Ventures, I have been able to combine my corporate legal background with my engineering background and interest in intellectual property in a transactional practice. Please feel free to reach me at , or by cell at.
I never stop working to strengthen those relationships. I understand what is it like for our client's lives to be disrupted and I am proud to help them through these difficult times.. I am dedicated to working with clients to find timely and cost-sensitive solutions to all manner of legal disputes, through litigation and alternative dispute resolution strategies.
I have worked my entire career in the Law. I was employed as a legal intern through my undergraduate degree at Johns Hopkins University. In this position, I worked for a large Baltimore, Maryland Law Firm in their Landlord Tenant and Collections division representing large landlord conglomerates and the largest bail bond company in the State of Maryland. I continued in this position until I was accepted to Law School where I received a Presidential Law Scholarship at Seattle University. Since entering Law School, I have been in and around the area of Family Law for several years. I began practicing in this area as a Rule 9 Intern with the Law Offices of Natalie de Maar. The Rule 9 Intern position provided me with a limited license to represent clients. After graduating Law School, I became an associate with Mrs. De Maar’s firm.. I strongly believe that you should understand why a lawyer concentrates their practice heavily on family law. I have done so primarily for two reasons. The first is a family law client is a uniquely vulnerable client. A family law client often finds himself or herself facing an unknown future. It can be emotional, frustrating, and exasperating. My goal is to assist my clients through this difficult time, and to help set a course forward toward financial and emotional stability. In other words, my goal is to help provide my clients and their children, a path forward. My second draw to family law is that I truly enjoy working with everyday people. As a result, I find that working with family law clients to be extremely rewarding and to be a fascinating area of the law.. I look forward to serving your Family Law needs.
