James P. Ware represents clients in complex litigation, before appellate courts, and on appeals of tax assessments before the Department of Revenue and before the Board of Tax Appeals.  James has served as lead counsel in high dollar trials and has obtained favorable results for numerous clients through motions practice.. James has also obtained favorable results in numerous appeals before Washington’s Court of Appeals as wells as before the Board of Tax Appeals and the DOR’s Appeals Division. Of note was James’s work in Murphey v. Charles D. Grass CPA and Associates.  James successfully argued for reversal and remand of the trial court's dismissal.  For James’s clients in the matter, that meant that their claims were not barred by a three year statute of limitation as had been asserted by the CPA firm.  After the case was remanded, James negotiated a favorable settlement.
