I have been representing personal injury victims for 10 years. I started my own firm in 2015 with the aim of offering high-quality legal representation while providing the care, compassion and personal attention that every client deserves. I handle my clients' cases personally, from start to finish. I work with my clients to address their most pressing legal needs and maximize their compensation. If the insurance company is messing around or low-balling my client, I am not afraid to force the issue in litigation.
I have been practicing law since 1986. I started in juvenile law, representing abused and neglected children. I added probate law around the same time, which involved administering decedents' estates, working with adults who were the subjects of guardianship and/or conservatorship proceedings and protecting the interests of minors in connection with conservatorship cases. Whether representing petitioners concerned about the well-being of their loved ones or representing children or disabled adults, working to help bring about positive change and good results for those who are disabled, abused, neglected or unable to protect themselves is fulfilling.. Also, helping people who have lost family and/or loved ones sort through the probate process is something I enjoy doing. At the end of the day, it's really important to know that I've helped make someone's life a little better, a little less stressful, and a little more successful!. Traveling the world and making music is something I enjoy in my spare time. I am a singer-songwriter who loves gospel, bossa nova and world music in various languages. My original music won second place in the 2010 Arizona State Bar Creative Arts Competition for lawyers, which was the first and only time I entered the competition. Looking forward to making more music in 2014!
I have been a lawyer since 1981. I have been a transactions lawyer for most of my 41 year career and was a trial lawyer for the last 30 years. I have drafted hundreds of contracts in my transaction work and I have litigated employment and business disputes. I was a CPA in the early 80s and practiced business transaction and securities work in Beverly Hills in the 80s. I have a facility with financial matters and disputes. With this trial experience and business background, I am well equipped to counsel individuals and small businesses in contract and organization matters.. Three recent trials resulted in $110,000 arbitration award in 2012 on sex discrimination and harassment case, $1,076,000 jury verdict in 2012 on breach of fiduciary duty claim by member of a limited liability company against another member (reversed on appeal), and a $414,000 jury verdict in 2013 against the US Postal Service on a Title VII retaliation claim.. In January 2018, I ended my trial practice and now consult on employment issues with employees and employers and consult on small business corporation and limited liability company matters.. My practice now is limited to telephone consultations. We have a minimum one-half hour for $150, and $250 per hour for longer consultations. We commonly review employment agreements, severance agreement, noncompete agreements and other contracts.
I graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Management of Information Systems, three weeks before my oldest daughter was born.. Various computer jobs eventually led me and my family to Las Vegas, Nevada, where I began the evening law program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Four long years, and two more beautiful children later, I completed law school.. I passed the bar exam in Nevada, but before having a chance to practice there an excellent job opportunity came up in Chandler, Arizona. (My wife wanted to leave Las Vegas for someplace with four seasons and cooler weather... sorry Honey.). I moved to Gilbert, and began preparing for the Arizona Bar exam in my spare time. I passed the exam and even achieved the highest score in the state.. With my past experience as a technology consultant, I know how to take a complicated process and explain it in an understandable way. I will listen to your needs and concerns and communicate to you what your options are every step of the way. I pride myself in solving problems – quickly, competently, and as inexpensively as possible. I think that is what most clients want from an Arizona bankruptcy attorney.
I enjoy advocating for children and those who don't yet have their own voice. I often take on Pro Bono cases from the Volunteer Lawyers Project. My oldest daughter and I have taken some Krav Maga classes together and we now have some wicked ninja fighting skills.

I am a very passionate advocate. I bring a unique vantage point to my practice, combining a background in mediation, negotiation, family law, and finance.. I am familiar with the practice of law on Wall Street and Main Street. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. I graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and received a Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School-Newark. While a law student, I completed a conflict management concentration focusing on negotiation, mediation, alternative dispute resolution and arbitration. I completed a Federal Judicial Externship with Honorable Ronald J. Hedges and was a Mediator for the Division of Consumer Affairs. I spent two years as an associate for a wall street bank, Goldman Sachs, managing International Swaps and Derivatives Association Agreements. I completed courses through Goldman Sachs University, including corporate negotiation. After going through the divorce process myself, I knew that this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.....help people start their lives over. I left the corporate world and began my family law career working for a small firm in Hackensack, New Jersey where I litigated divorce cases before New Jersey Superior Court Justices in 11 counties. In November of 2007, I opened the doors to the Law Office of Amanda Mays in Princeton, New Jersey. The firm was dedicated to 100% family law, including cases involving divorce, annulments, custody, child support, spousal support, distribution of assets and debts, complicated distributions of businesses and financial products requiring forensic accountings and appraisals, domestic and international kidnappings, grandparents' visitation rights and enforcement issues. I am a divorced father of four who helps people out of undesirable situations. As a divorcee, I understand the trials that people are going through and don't judge anyone for the situation they are in. Sometimes financial trouble is the problem that needs to be overcome. I've been there, too. Many people are scared of bankruptcy and view it as a failure. They then get into their car and drive to work each day with the creditors hounding them mercilessly. What they don't see is that the manufacturer of their car may have received a HUGE bailout from the federal government because they were insolvent. And the banks that are hounding them probably received a huge bailout from the federal government, too. Bankruptcy isn't a failure, it is merely a financial decision to reset your financial game and get back on track with a lot more breathing room.. I am defined by two things, my role as a father first and, second, my job as your attorney. I raised my four children half while being a successful attorney. My children are the reason for me being here and I strive to make my clients' lives easier so that they can live their lives to the fullest, too. Don't beat yourself down because of your current place in life. If you don't like it, change it. Sometimes the changes are difficult, but the things that are worth it seldom are easy. Honestly, though, I make bankruptcy fun.

Attorney Jason J. Navarro focuses on all Criminal Defense matters at Navarro Law, PLC. A third-generation Mexican-American, Mr. Navarro's grandfather immigrated to the U.S. from Chihuahua, Mexico in the 1930s. Mr. Navarro's father, Roberto, was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. In the early 70s, Roberto was stationed in Colorado with the U.S. Army where Jason was born but the family eventually moved to Dallas, Texas, where he was raised.. Growing up in Dallas in the early 80s was extraordinarily difficult as a poor brown-skinned boy. Blatant racism and class discrimination was a daily reality. Sadly, Mr. Navarro suffered from the same racial & socio-economic prejudices in his youth that many minority and blue-collar families are still forced to endure today. In his 20s, Mr. Navarro served in the U.S. Air National Guard (Air Force) and worked in sales and banking for several years. As time passed, however, Mr. Navarro began to feel the inescapable call to serve fueled by the countless heartbreaking experiences he had faced over the years. Eventually, he reached a point in his life when he could no longer ignore the inequalities he had witnessed first-hand for so long.. His mission now clear, Mr. Navarro moved to Arizona in 2002 to pursue his dream of becoming attorney. His plan was not without its challenges. He and his wife were raising two young children (twins) while working and going to school full-time. Thankfully, the hard work paid off in 2012 when he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Legal Studies from Western International University. Mr. Navarro subsequently graduated from Arizona Summit Law School (formerly Phoenix School of Law) in 2016.. Mr. Navarro knows what its like to be treated differently. He also knows what it feels like to be victimized by an imperfect system regardless of your status. If you are searching for an attorney who will relentlessly fight for you and truly cares, call today. HABLAMOS ESPAÑOL!
