Mr. Colascione is a life long resident of Long Island, NY. He obtained his B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Business Management from The State University of New York at Stony Brook. He earned his Juris Doctorate from The Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. He is also admitted in the Federal courts for the Eastern District of New York. During his time at Touro Law, he was President of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and had the honor of meeting Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor. Mr. Colasione is a member of: The Suffolk Bar Association, The New York State Bar Association, the Amistad Long Island Black Bar Association, and the Babylon Town Democratic Committee.

I dedicate my practice to protecting the rights of injured workers in all aspects of Workers’ Compensation litigation before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission and the Circuit and Appellate Courts of the State of Illinois.  Through aggressive advocacy on behalf of my clients and a thorough understanding of the law, I ensure that they receive each and every Workers' Compensation benefit that they may be owed.

Graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1995.  Received a Master of Science degree in Public Management from SUNY at Stony Brook in 1987 and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from The American University in Washington, D.C. in 1985. Interned with Justice Herbert Kramer in the Kings County Supreme Court and the New York State Attorney General's Office.  I founded thelaw firm Vladimir & Associates, P.C. in 1998 focusing on all personal injury, criminal defense matters, and residential real estate.   I also handle cases in all district, municipal and village courts in Nassau and Suffolk County which includes traffic tickets, building code violations and any other statutory offense in the local courts.

As an attorney, I pride myself on the personal service I give my clients.  For instance, I work on all of my mortgage modificaton files myself.  I meet with my clients myself, I communicate with them directly via phone or email, I prepare the documents that go to the lender and I communicate with the lender and their attorneys.  I do not give the file off to a secretary or paralegal.

Accomplished his undergraduate work at the University of Notre Dame, and graduated fromFordham University School of Law in 1995. He also is alum of Chaminade High School. After serving as corporate counsel with Metropolitan Life and moving on to clerk for Chief United States Bankruptcy Judge Melanie L. Cyganowski in the Eastern District of New York, he spent two years as an associate with the Wall Street firm of Herzfeld & Rubin, P.C. where, among other things, he developed the firm’s first foreclosure department. His areas of practice include trusts and estates (wills), bankruptcy law, real estate, business collections and personal injury.
