Shari Lee Sugarman graduated from Touro Law School, cum laude, in 1997. Having worked for several larger firms on Long Island after graduation, Ms. Sugarman choose to open her own firm in 2005 so she could be with her young son. Peter Vladimir received his J.D. degree from the University of California at Davis. While in law school, he worked at the California Franchise Tax Board and the staff attorney's office at the Solano County Superior Court. He graduated from Cornell University and has a Masters Degree in History from SUNY at Stony Brook.. Before joining Vladimir & Associates, he worked for a plaintiffs class action & securities law firm in New York City. He also taught a number of classes in financial accounting and early American history. He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association and a member of the New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NYSACDL).

Mr. Colascione is a life long resident of Long Island, NY. He obtained his B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Business Management from The State University of New York at Stony Brook. He earned his Juris Doctorate from The Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. He is also admitted in the Federal courts for the Eastern District of New York. During his time at Touro Law, he was President of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and had the honor of meeting Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor. Graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1995.  Received a Master of Science degree in Public Management from SUNY at Stony Brook in 1987 and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from The American University in Washington, D.C. in 1985. Interned with Justice Herbert Kramer in the Kings County Supreme Court and the New York State Attorney General's Office.  I founded thelaw firm Vladimir & Associates, P.C. in 1998 focusing on all personal injury, criminal defense matters, and residential real estate.   I also handle cases in all district, municipal and village courts in Nassau and Suffolk County which includes traffic tickets, building code violations and any other statutory offense in the local courts.

My initial experience inspired me to join Robert (Bob) D. Frankfort and his general practice law firm in 1992. Working for both individual and business clients on a wide variety of cases was truly the right fit for me. And, in 1993, Bob and I partnered and formed Frankfort & Koltun with our office located in Deer Park, NY.
