Prior to returning to New England, Strosahl worked in Washington, DC developing ocean-related legislation and performing government relations, including a fellowship with Senator Brian Schatz (HI). During law school, he worked on environmental issues with both the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services and the Conservation Law Foundation. Before coming ashore for law school, Strosahl spent more than six years at sea and attained his master mariners license of any gross tonnage upon the oceans. He received his law degree from the University of Maine School of Law, cum laude, and earned his bachelor’s degree from Maine Maritime Academy.
